How to PRINT POSTERS for your classroom!

Have you ever taken a stroll through an education store and looked at the price of posters and said "No way!" I am always blown away by how much they can charge for one little piece of paper. I have tons of resources on my computer that are similar, but they are too small to be a usable resource for my students. Totally frustrating!

Well I have learned a better way!
I can make anything from a regular file into a poster with a little bit of work but at a fraction of the price!

Here is how I do it:

This blog post will show you how I print poster sized resources for my classroom at a fraction of the cost of education stores. Print any regular PDF into a classroom resource for your elementary, preschool, or kindergarten classroom.

  • Select the page you want to print
  • Select "Poster" under Page Sizes and Handling
  • Change Title Scale to 200%
  • Print (it prints onto 4 pages)
  • Trim the overlap and tape together
  • Laminate

That's it!

I recently did this with some nursery rhyme posters so they can be used during our Michael Heggerty phonemic awareness time. I love that his routines end with a nursery rhyme but I have always wanted to display them for my students too. Now I can!

I you are interested in the nursery rhyme posters you can get them HERE in my TPT store.
