Peek at my Week! Kindergarten Week 2

I made it through the first "real" week of Kindergarten....barely!  It's taken me all weekend to recover for sure!  I'm all planned out for another week and we are just taking it one little baby step at a time.

You can click on the picture to see the plans up close and here are a few of the products I am using this week.

I have been using these every morning as our seat work or word work.  As soon as they complete the page the students raise their hand (I stop by and quickly check through their work and put a stamp at the top) and then they get to go to word work.  This is how I work the first round of Daily 5 into my everyday curriculum.

Word Work consists of centers from this packet.  Right now they focus on a lot of letter naming, first sounds fluency, and letter writing along with comprehension response sheets (this week we are focusing on setting) and high frequency words.

That's my week!

Now it's your turn to link up with Deedee at Mrs. Will's Kindergarten
